Hi, I am Esti, a Scarborough local and a mural artist. I am inviting residents living close to Deanmore Reserve to help me with this exciting project. Many hands make light work and it’s a fun way to connect and learn a new skill. So come along and help contribute to this fun project, I would love to see you all there!

All ages from 6+ years are welcome to join the painting, and of course, anyone can come and watch!
All children need to be supervised.

Registration is essential to ensure that we have enough supplies and everyone has lots of space
to work in. Total number of participants is limited to 30 so get in quick! I have created 30 min. blocks for booking to make sure we are not over-crowded. Just choose one when you are booking.
Your details will only be used to contact you in regards to your participation or in case we need to postpone the event.

This is a free event sponsored by the City Of Stirling's Community Creativity Fund.

About the project:

I have spent many months developing this project which is funded by City of Stirling’s Community Creativity Fund. This is my second time getting this grant and I am so excited to be creating a mural this time for my neighbourhood and my beloved local park while engaging with the
wonderful community here!
I have dreamed of painting something enchanting and engaging on these walls for so long!
The mural will cover three walls of the the Scarborough Scout Hall - shown in purple on the image below. I will also be holding workshops with the Scarborough Primary School students and the resident Scouts as well as holding a community paint day. The theme is ‘Suburban Jungle’ - and is a celebration of the native animals and plants that we share our suburbs with and our connection with the natural environment. The participating students will all contribute artworks and help inspire the mural. The finished mural design will be revealed at the Community Paint Day event.
I have dreamed of painting something on these walls for so long! I am so grateful to the City of Stirling for supporting local artists through this funding and I am honoured to be chosen to receive this grant.
