This is a painting in oils on plywood.
 
It was painted during a blissful month I spent in Denmark in the South West of WA, painting, sitting and walking by the river and the forests. Most days I would spot these three friends - two brown ducks and a white one. Always together. Never let any other birds join them. One day I spotted these two little girls watching them rest. It seemed like a special moment. I wondered what they were saying about these three friends. The old trees by the river never ceased to take my breath away. 
 
It is framed in an oak frame. The frame is 8mm wide and 32 mm deep.
Painting size: 42.6 x 32.8 cm on plywood. 
Signed on the back.
